James "Jim" Buford Hall, 95, of Batesville passed away Tuesday, December 10, 2024.

He was born March 4, 1929 in Kirkwood, Missouri to WL Hall and Georgia Mae (Shanks) Hall.

Jim was a 1951 graduate of Arkansas College where he was a member of the choir and drama department. He was married to his wife, Martha Sue Reynolds for 71 years.

Survivors include one daughter, Martha McWilliams-Brouphy (Mike) of Laurel, Mississippi; two sons, James Herald Hall (Jane) of Blue Ridge, Georgia and John W. Hall (Michele) of Nashville, Tennessee; five grandchildren, James Corbyn (Mina), Jon McWilliams (Meg), Leif Hall, Daniel Hall (Lauren) and Holly Tate (Elliott) and three great-grandchildren, Strider Hall, Larkin Hall and Iris Tate.

He is preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Mary Queer and one brother, George Hall.

Honorary pallbearers are Daniel Hall, Elliot Tate, John Hall, Jim Hall, Leif Hall, James Corbyn and Jon McWilliams.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, December 18, 2024 at 11:00am at Oaklawn Cemetery.
