Milli Marie Lewis, 70, of Batesville died on Sunday, December 8, 2024 at White River Medical Center of natural causes being comforted by her husband, James Lewis.

Mrs. Lewis was born February 25, 1954 in Orlando, FL and has lived in Batesville for 27 years. She was a lifetime member of Spring River Seventh Day Adventist in Hardy, Arkansas. She was an accountant for the Batesville Water and Utility for many years.

Milli and James were married June 1, 1997. She loved reading, putting puzzles together with her husband and watching sci-fi and rom-coms and playing piano.

She was preceded in death by her Parents, Alonzo Cruze and Beulah Cruze; brother, Jack Cruze; brother, Bari Cruze; sister, Bedi Graves and her best friend, Karen Burns.

Survivors include her husband, James Lewis; sister, Cathy (John) Hart; brother, Max (Trisha) Cruze; sister-in-law, Linda Cruze; her children, Heather Schulman, Chuck McKinney, Chris Cruze, Chris (April) Lewis, Shane Lewis; her fur baby, Pepper the Kitty Cat; grandson, Logan Nagy and several other grandchildren and great-grandchildren and a host of family and friends.

Graveside services will be held Friday, December 13, 2024 at 2:00pm at Egner Cemetery with Lauri DeWitt officiating.

Visitation will be held from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at the Roller-Crouch Funeral Home on Thursday, December 12, 2024.

Miss Milli, you were such a joy to take care of and I loved seeing you everyday. You would make my days joyful I was never sad when I was around you. I sure miss our talks.laughs,and just being us. I ove you and I miss you and will see you again!
