John (Bob) Robert Walker of Collierville, Tennessee passed away peacefully on December 9, 2024. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Ann (Chisnall) Walker; his parents, John Dennis (J.D.) Walker and Ernese Olison Walker of Holly Grove, Arkansas and his brother, Dennis Martin Walker. He is survived by his two children, Todd Walker (Patricia) of Memphis, Tennessee and Denise Rankin of Jacksonville, Arkansas and his five grandchildren, Hannah Walker (Jacob Loschinskey), Eli Walker both of Memphis, Tennessee, Neal Rankin (Brittany) of Cabot, Arkansas, Russ Rankin (Ashlynn) of Jonesboro, Arkansas and Rob Rankin of Paragould, Arkansas and his two great grandchildren, Emma and Tyler Rankin.
Bob was born November 7, 1939 in Holly Grove, Arkansas. He graduated from Holly Grove High School and attended Arkansas A&M College in Monticello, Arkansas. He married Patricia Ann Chisnall in June of 1962. He was dedicated to his lifelong work in the agricultural and farming business. Bob enjoyed many friendships, never met a stranger and had a smile and a story for everyone. He lived most of his life in Arkansas and much of his retirement in Punta Gorda, Florida.
Beloved husband, father and grandfather.
A private graveside service will be held in Holly Grove, Arkansas at Franks Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Holly Grove Presbyterian Church, 169 2nd St, Holly Grove, AR 72069

Bob was the one who hired me at Tri County Farmers 27 years ago! He still called and checked on me all the way up till this year. He was a great boss and friend! My condolences to the family!
