Joan Morse, 91, of North Little Rock passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 4, 2024 surrounded by the love of her family. A beacon of joy, kindness and warmth, she brought laughter and light to every room she entered and touched the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know her.

She lived a life rich in love, service and connection. Her ability to make everyone feel special and valued was her unique gift and her laughter was a source of comfort and joy to all who crossed her path.

Joan was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Hazel B Douglas; father, Theodore Matthews; daughter, Deborah Sontag and husband, Bob Morse.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Micki Sue Nesselrodt; devoted son-in-law, Doug Nesselrodt; as well as her dear sister, Helen Matthews. She leaves behind a legacy in her grandchildren, Douglas Nesselrodt (Brandy Nesselrodt), Kaylea Spradlin and Brittnie Moody (Rick Moody) and in her great-grandchildren, Mason Rowe, Stevie Nesselrodt, Scout Nesselrodt, Landon Spradlin, Wynn Moody and McKinley Ramsey. Her family was her greatest joy and her love will continue to shine through them.

Though she has left this world, her spirit remains woven into the lives she touched. Her wisdom, humor and unwavering love will be deeply missed. May she rest in eternal peace, reunited with those she loved and forever remembered by all whose lives she graced.
