John Nichols Jr., 86, a resident of Hunt, passed away Friday, December 6, 2024 in Ozark. He was born November 4, 1938 to the late John and Bessie (Collins) Nichols. Johnnie's family remembers him for his dedication to his faith as he had helped establish congregations, that led many to the path of Christ. He was a master in plumbing which provided opportunities for many in the Nichols family to build and maintain successful careers. Johnnie had a love for country music and enjoyed playing and singing with the family that will miss him dearly.

In addition to his parents, John is preceded in death by wives, Donna (Cantrell) Nichols and Barbara (Bledsoe) Nichols; seven brothers, Eugene, Harley, Eddie Ray, Cecil, Chester, Frank and Lewis Nichols; four sisters, Imogene, Betty Mae, Hazel and Francis and one step-son, Scotty Bledsoe.

Those left to cherish Johnnie's memories are his two sons, Ronald (Sharon) Nichols and Micheal J. Nichols; one daughter, Laura Nichols; three step-daughters, Carla Johnson, Debbie Nichols and Tammy Gray; one step-son, Leslie Bledsoe; eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and many more nephews, nieces, family and friends.

A visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 11, 2024 at Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel. A funeral service will be at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, December 12, 2024 at Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel with Jerry and Todd Richardson officiating. Burial will follow service at Liberty Hill Cemetery in Hunt, Arkansas. Pallbearers for John will be Daniel Nichols, Dustin Nichols, Ricky Gray, Bobby Nichols, Johnny Nichols and Steve Stewart.
