Prayers for the family.. Jeff was a great guy and a good turkey hunting buddy, sure gonna miss him...
so sorry to hear of Jeff's passing. my prayers go out to his family, Jeff will be missed by his family and multitude of friends that got to know Jeff. During the different periods that I was over the department Jeff worked in we became good friends, He was a very good mechanic and I apricated the work he done for me at times going above and beyond his normally duties to insure ideas we talked about worked as we discussed. God Bless and goodbye old friend.
Praying for all the family!
I worked with Jeff for a long time at the factory and he was a great mechanic with a lot of knowledge, for all of us that worked on those production lines knows that it took a lot of patience to try to operate those machines, Jeff was always very patient and kind , willing to help everyone!
I always enjoyed listening to his hunting stories and I also got the chance to go hunting with him at the White River Refuge a few times, I want to say Thank You Jeff for being a good friend to me, Rest in Peace Brother!
Jeff was a great mechanic that we enjoyed working with. My prayers are for his family. RIP Jeff.
I worked with Jeff for many years , although I did not work directly with him, we had many conversations, while taking break. There are two thing that come to mind, when thinking of him, he loved his children, and talked of them daily, and he loved hunting, I am speaking from the people that worked with him, that he was the best mechanic that they had in Liquids! He was a great man all the way around. Rest peacefully Jeff.
I watched the video tribute. VERY WELL done. He IS a white dove or pigeon. I forgot to mention in earlier post, a couple of stories Jeff told me. This is the sad one he told me years ago. During deer season, got a doe, I think it was. Kind of a long-range shot, as I recall. Hit the animal low and it ran and tore it's guts out on the lower bushes. When he tracked it down, it was still alive and in terrible pain. I remember him telling me that deer looked him with the saddest look on its' face and he finished her off humanely. He also told me how sorry he felt for that animal.
Okay, that's the sad one. Here's two I recall he told me. Jeff IS an outdoorsman. I recall he hunted nearly EVERYTHING. Probably would've gotten a hunting license for cockroaches if they ever came into season!! That man liked turkey hunting. Told me once about one he thought he'd knocked one down. Turns out, he didn't.
Told me he picked that turkey up and it BOTH feet kicked the snot out of him!!!!! That's all I remember from that one.
Another time, be me some HILARIOUS story about using one of those deer stand things that sort of "self-climbs" up trees It got away from him and left him dangling upside down!! I recall him telling me, fortunately, some other hunter wandered by and helped him stop his short-lived circus acrobat career.
Then, there's duck season, of course. He was out and about in o e of those aluminum duck boats with another boat or two. He 5d me that they had signals they'd sent to each other. Lifting of ball caps I think it was if the game wardens were waiting and you had bagged over the limit. They'd signal, dump the ducks you were over limit for.
Go with the GREAT OUTDOORS, Jeff. You'll be missed.
I just was notified of Jeff less than a minute ago. He was at Maybelline years before I was hired. That man taught me A LOT!! I always considered him a very good friend. We didn't keep in touch. My bad, just as it was with Randy who we lost almost 4 years ago. I spent almost 11 years working with Jeff. When L'Oréal decided they didn't want me anymore, I left. Jeff taught me TREMENDOUSLY. Those KV-60 cartoner machines.....still remember them.....he pulled me straight through them. I WISH I could get back for the service. I live in Albuquerque now. Rest in Peace Jeff. I have several times looked his name up on Google, wondering what he was up to. I'm sorry I didn't keep better in touch, Jeff. Rest Peacefully.
I am so sorry to hear about Jeff. Aunt Sandy, Mandy, Josh, Jake--I know we don't talk much but I do love you all. I wish I could make it this week to see y'all--if I could I'd give each of you a big squeeze. Love, Jenny
