Michael Lynn ''Cubby'' Bush, age 55, of Vilonia, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on November 26, 2024. He was born on October 16, 1969 in Conway, Arkansas to Jesse F. and Shirley Nell Bush.
Lynn was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse F. Bush and Shirley Nell Bush and his brother, William Earl Bush. He is survived by his older brother, Robert Bush (Elizabeth) and nieces, Mary Katherine Bush and Jessica Elizabeth Bush. He is also survived by his significant other, Heather Crowder and a host of other family, cousins and friends.
Lynn grew up on the family farm near Naylor, Arkansas where he was involved in cattle and row crop production. He attended Vilonia schools, graduating in 1988 from Vilonia High School. While in school he served as president of his FFA chapter and played football, basketball and ran track. He attended the University of Central Arkansas and graduated with a degree in business in 1992. Lynn became employed by the Sanyo Corporation in Forrest City, Arkansas where he rose to the title of Director of Production; upon relocation of the Forrest City Plant, Lynn opted to take an early retirement in 2006. He then purchased the Subway business in Vilonia, Arkansas which he successfully ran until his passing. In his spare time, Lynn enjoyed skeet shooting, re-loading ammo and collecting and flying radio-controlled aircraft as well as collecting and riding ATV's of all types. Lynn owned a farm with a beautiful house, yard and barn which he took immaculate care of. Lynn was of the Baptist faith and attended church regularly. He enjoyed being with his family and friends and will be missed by many.
His funeral service will consist of a visitation at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway, Arkansas on Saturday, November 30, 2024 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm. Funeral Services will be held at Marcus Hill Baptist Church on Sunday, December 1, 2024 at 2:00pm with interment following a graveside service at Marcus Hill Cemetery.
He will be eulogized by Brother Craig Manley and Brother Dustin Jones.
The Pallbearers will be Craig Manley, Roger Reed, Leslie Crawford, Toby Finch, Steve Oakley and Paul Hackler. Honorary Pallbearers will be Phil Smith, Christopher Johnson, Steven Barnard and Shawn Harris.
Lynn was a wonderful friend. He loved life loved Heather beyond words. I worked with him at sanyo He will dearly be missed
