Betty Jane Cullins Harris, 71, of Searcy, Arkansas passed away on Sunday morning, November 24, 2024 at her home. She was born to the late James Franklin and Mary Belle Wright Cullins on December 22, 1952.

She met and married the love of her life, Lloyd William Harris, on December 28, 1968 and were married 49 years at the time of his death. She was also preceded in death by her parents and one daughter, Maria Beth Harris. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Saradona G. (Bradley) Worley and her son, Daniel J. (Amber) Harris; eight grandchildren, Seth Harris, Lacey Weaver, Luke Harris, Zachary Zelms, Kayson Webb, Kayleigh Harris, Hudson Worley and Brandon Worley; three great grandchildren, Isabella Harris, Isaac Harris and Ellory Worley along with many friends.

Betty had a heart for others including the animals that she came in contact with. She served as the President of the Board for the Northeast Arkansas Council of Developmental Disabilities, worked with children with disabilities in both Jonesboro and at the Community School of Batesville. Another location she could be found at on a routine basis was when she volunteered and served on the Board for Paws Inn No Kill Animal Shelter.

In her spare time her favorite things to do was to watch TV and work in her flower gardens, go to yard sales, flea markets and garage sales as often as she could.

The family has requested in lieu of flowers, that donations be made to the Make a Wish Foundation at 320 Executive Ct #101, Little Rock, Arkansas 72205.

Services are scheduled for Monday, December 2, 2024 at Roller-Daniel Funeral Home Chapel with Visitation at 10:00 AM followed by a Celebration of Life at 11:00 AM. Committal Service will be held at 3:00 PM at the Manila Cemetery in Manila, Arkansas.
