Leah Cecile Surber, 65, of Harrison, Arkansas passed away Friday, November 22, 2024 at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Harrison. She was born on April 7, 1959 in Memphis, Arkansas, the daughter of Merlin and Florene (Tackett) Hadley. She is preceded in death by her parents; one son, David Hendrix and three sisters, Carla J. Wilson, Cheryl Owens and Debbie Cullin.

Leah enjoyed taking care of her family and people through her work. She was a CNA for many years and impacted many lives. She enjoyed fishing, watching game shows and spending time with her precious grandchildren.

Leah is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, James Surber of the home; one son, Skylar Surber of Harrison; two daughters, Nicole Cenobio and her husband, Colie of Fayetteville, Arkansas and Valerie Olcott of Little Rock, Arkansas; one brother, Jimmy Harper of Columbia, Missouri; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and many other family and friends who will dearly miss her.


Graveside service was held Friday, November 29, 2024 at York Cemetery in Bergman, Arkansas with Bro. Michael Quinton officiating.

Pallbearers were Jack Dalton, Cole Elder, Colie Cenobio, Danny Bravo, Brandon Layman and Nikolas Cenobio.
