Homer Lee Sides Jr. passed away November 18, 2024, at Crossridge Community Hospital in Wynne at the age of 76. He was born February14, 1948 in Wynne, Arkansas to parents Homer Sides Sr. and Betty Humphrey Sides.

Homer was a United States Army Veteran of the Vietnam War where he proudly served. After returning to the states, he began a career as an auto mechanic. He married and divorced Darlene Smith in 1974. He then married Linda Adams in 1976. She passed in 2014. After many years apart he and Darlene then rediscovered each other and remained together until his death.

Homer is survived by his siblings, Peggy Bussell of Mannford, Oklahoma, Barbara Johnson (John) of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Carolyn Lorent (Mike) of Cherry Valley, Arkansas, Carrie Watlington (Keith) of Vandale, Arkansas, Billy Sides Sr. of Lowell, Arkansas, and Charles Sides Sr. of Wynne, Arkansas. Homer is preceded in death by his parents, his sister Betty Lois Utley and his brothers, Kenneth Sides and Walter Sides.

Services will be held at Levesque Assembly of God Church on Friday, November 22, 2024, with Visitation beginning at 1:00 PM followed by the Service at 2:00 PM. Burial with Military Honors will take place after at Bay Village Cemetery.
