Lois Scott Dial, left this world peacefully on Saturday, November 16, 2024, in Little Rock, Arkansas, at the age of 88. She was born in 1936 in Milton, PA to Ivan and Alice Noll and had a brother, Arlon Noll, all of whom precede her in death.

She graduated in 1956 from Geisinger School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse. Her first job was as an ER nurse at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. She later worked at UAMS Medical Center in Little Rock in the neurosurgery/neurology department.

She married her first husband, the late Charles E. Scott, in 1956 and they had 4 children all of whom survive her: Lori Daniel (Danny) of Covington, LA, Lynn Willbanks (James) of Little Rock, AR, Lisa Lanning (Trey Long) of Benton, AR, and Craig Scott (Joanne) of Miramar, FL. They had 30 wonderful years together.

In 1996, Lois married her second husband, the late Henry F. Dial, Jr. of Richmond, VA with whom she enjoyed traveling the world. They sailed the Caribbean on multiple occasions and camped and canoed across the United States and Canada. They were blessed with 22 years together. She acquired 2 bonus daughters by her second marriage: Marcia West and Mary Kay Scruggs, both of Virginia.

She was a natural athlete and loved playing tennis and taking long walks well into her later years. She loved being a grandmother to her 12 grandchildren: Kristen James (Jonathan), Matt Daniel (Audra), Scott Willbanks, Jamie Willbanks, Brittney Jones (Reagan), Jessica Scott, Camron Scott, Justyn Scott, Catherine Scott, Kevin McCarthy, Eric Scruggs and Dylan Scruggs. She lived a full and happy life and will be missed by all who knew her.

The family wishes to express their gratitude to the nursing staff at The Vista at Presbyterian Village for their wonderful loving care of our mother. The family also expresses gratitude to Hospice Home Care for their compassionate care. The family will hold a memorial service at a later date.
