Richard L. Hill, born September 21, 1935, in Custer City, Oklahoma, departed this life Saturday, November 16, 2024.

He was a Christian and of First Christian Church Faith.

Richard is survived by five children, Larry Hill, Sherry Hill, Sharon Daniels of Pinon Hills, CA, Richard Jr. of Bench Bluff, Tennessee, and Dennis Hill of Conway, Arkansas.

He attended school in Custer City, Oklahoma City, and graduated from Fredrick High School, and Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, and graduated with an associate's degree in Diesel and Stationary Engines.

Richard was a veteran in the United States Army, where he served two tours in South Vietnam and one tour in Italy. He attended several Fixed Wing and Helicopter Maintenance, Leadership and Sergeant Major Academy Courses. He retired from the Military on September 1, 1978. After the Military, his Father-in-Law Kroesing taught him how to apply siding to houses. Richard went on to work on road machines for Faulker County and later retired from Kimberly Clark Mills in Conway.

Richard enjoyed fishing, hunting, tennis, along with dancing and square dancing.

A Graveside Service will be held at 10am, Friday, November 22, 2024, at Crestlawn Memorial Park in Conway, Arkansas.

Fond memories of Richard as our line mechanic and friend at Kimberly Clark for many years. He was always a pleasant gentleman with a kind smile and gentle spirit. My deepest condolences to all.
