Nanci Mathis passed away Sunday, November 10, 2024 with her family by her side. Nanci was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She leaves behind her husband, Gene Mathis, to whom she was married to for 34 years. She leaves a son, Bert Wayne Houston and daughter, Janet Gayle Davis; granddaughter, Heather Nicole Houston and great grandson, Houston Elijah Wright and two sisters, Martha Kirksey and Suzy Gregory. She was preceded in death by her parents, C.L. and Frances Casey; brother, Cecil Casey and sisters, Diane Sharp and Brenda Sharpe.
A graveside service will be held Monday, November 18, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Crittenden Memorial Park in Marion , Arkansas. In lieu of flowers, please send memorial contributions to St Jude Children's Research Hospital.
