December 20, 1933 - November 3, 2024
Charles Edward ''Hamp'' Hamilton was born December 20, 1933 in Little Rock and passed away, November 3, 2024 in North Little Rock.
Hamp dedicated his life to the military. He joined the Army at the age of seventeen. When the Army realized he was too young, they kicked him out. He then got his mother's permission and joined the Navy. After serving ten years in the Navy, he enlisted in the Army National Guard, retiring after several years. He then started working for the State at Camp Robinson, where he retired again.
After retirement, Hamp kept himself busy with odd jobs. From mowing lawns to collecting cans, Hamp liked making money. He enjoyed traveling with his wife, Betty and taking her out to eat. Hamp was a very treasured character to all his family and friends.
Hamp is survived by his wife of forty years Betty; his brother, Eddie Hamilton as well as stepsons, Troy and Trinity Gustus and numerous beloved nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Helen Hamilton; brother, Bobby Hamilton; sisters, Mary Brinkley, Betty Hill and Dorothy Bowen and stepsons, Parrish and Ty Gustus.
Sending Love and prayers to all of you during this difficult time.
We share your grief. We know that Hamp was a good and loving man. Our hearts are always with you.
Hugs and prayers for my Hamilton family. Uncle Charlie was blessed to live life to its fullest until age 90.

Hugs and prayers to all the family and friends.
