I'm so sorry to hear about Sue's homegoing. She was such a dedicated and compassionate person who cherished the work just as much as she supported and loved her staff, which was immeasurable. I will also remember her distinct chuckle, wry smile and spicy behavior. I still have on my desk an "Arkansas treasure" (at least that's what she called it) dubbed Monkey Balls that we had some good laughs about for a couple of years. My prayers and thoughts will be with you all in your time of need, as you lost a good one.

Sue sat across from me when they consolidated CPS and I loved her from the moment I met her. She was smart, hard-working, and soooooo much fun to be around. Later I had the privilege of being her supervisor. She was a wonderful and dedicated social worker that touched so many lives in such a positive way.

I'm so incredibly sad to hear that Sue has passed. She was an incredible woman with a huge heart. I worked with Sue for many years at DHHS. She was very passionate about her job and helping children and families. Sue knew how to make you laugh when you really needed it, and didn't sugar coat anything! Sue talked so fondly of her husband George, children, and her grandchildren. You will be greatly missed! Thank you for being you! RIH

I met Sue when she was a supervisor at child predictive services for the state of Michigan. I work in law enforcement and Sue was amazing to work with. She really cared about keeping kids safe and doing things right to hold adults accountable. Sue made an impact on myself as well as others and she will definitely be missed. - Todd ( aka Detective Gilbert)

I am so very sorry to hear about the passing of Sue. I worked with her and was her program manager for a number of years with the State of Michigan DHHS in Child Welfare.

She l was a joy to work with. I loved her wittiness and laughter that many times helped us get through the tough challenges we sometimes faced. She also was dedicated and very sincere about protecting children and supporting families to overcome the obstacles they faced.

To the family and many friends you have my deepest condolences and prayers through this difficult time. May her memories bring you joy in your times of sadness.
