Vanessa Nell Riley Mazurek, 60, of Little Rock passed away on October 23, 2024. She was born on September 7, 1964 in Columbia, Tennessee to the late William Andrew Riley and Nellie Louise Frazier Riley. Vanessa was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, friend and great-grandmother, who brought joy and warmth to everyone she met. As a loving homemaker, Vanessa dedicated her life to her family and friends, always ready to lend a helping hand or share a kind word. A proud member of Saint Theresa's Catholic Church, she found great joy in her faith and community.
Vanessa is survived by her four children, Sammy Grissom, Amber Grissom, Kyle Grissom and Nino Mazurek; nine cherished grandchildren, Hayden, Keleigh, Kadance, Kingston, Nala, Kade, Archer, Evie and Jocelyn and one great-grandson. Vanessa is also survived by her four brothers, Jim Riley, Doug Riley (Karen), Joe Riley (Connie) and Roger Riley; along with numerous nieces and nephews whom she adored. She was preceded in death by her brother, Dale and her daughter, Amber Mazurek
A graveside service will be held at Walnut Grove Cemetery on Tuesday, October 29th at 2:00 P.M., where family and friends are invited to celebrate her life and share cherished memories. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to a charity of your choice in her honor.
