Stanley Kerr, age 78, passed away in Little Rock, Arkansas Wednesday, October 23, 2024. He was born Thursday, March 21, 1946 to the late Louis M. Kerr and Virgie Smart in Helena, Arkansas. Stanley was a member of the New Beginnings Church in West Helena, Arkansas. He enjoyed fishing, and spending time with his family. Stanley served in the Navy, underwent extensive training to become an underwater welder, was a carpenter or better known as a jack of all trades.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Louis M. Kerr and Virgie Kerr; son, Lee Stewart and sister, Francis Holland.

Stanley is survived by his loving wife of thirty-two years, Jayne Kerr; sons, Ronnie Wolfe (Sherry) and Terry Stewart (Terri); daughters, Katherine Watson (Brian), Dana Crick (Trent) and Suzanne Strain (Tim); grandchildren, Katie Jo Lindsey, Mary Fran Brogdon, James Barton, Megan Jenkins, Hannah Crick, Amanda Gripp, Brandy Reed, Candice Alexander, Austin Stewart, Dalyinn Stewart, Peyton Wolfe, Nathan Wolfe, Kaden Wolfe, Cecily Stewart and Teal Stewart; seventeen great-grandchildren; brother, Danny Kerr (Marilyn) and sisters, Virginia DeSpain and Pat Lundall.

Pallbearers will be Trent Crick, Ronnie Wolfe, Kaden Wolfe, Austin Stewart, Adam Gripp and Trey Alexander.

Honorary pallbearers will be Brian Watson and Tim Strain.

A funeral service for Mr. Stanley Kerr will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 26, 2024 at the New Beginnings Church in West Helena, Arkansas. A visitation will be held prior at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens in West Helena, Arkansas. Brother Audi Richardson will officiate.

To the family of Stanley I am sorry for your loss. I haven’t seen Stanley in years but the last time I did he was fishing around Snow Lake. We went to school together in West Helena and he was always a standup guy. I know he will be missed.
