I worked with Marie for a short time but I enjoyed that time. I retired from St. Bernards but Marie did teach me how important patient care and patient enviroment is espectially in the home health setting. Praying for your families.

Just reflecting on the haircuts and birthday parties under the pecan trees. Great memories and great times. Hauling beans, riding the pony and getting thrown off, feeding the pigs and so on. They will be missed.

Til we meet again, til we meet, til we meet, God be with us til we meet again!!!!!!

Oh, how I adored Marie all those years ago. She and Amos would come to our house, and she would get up early in the mornings and play church hymns on the piano. She was always so kind and caring and treated me with such love and respect. When I left the family 23+ years ago, she was one I always missed so much. I know she loved her boys, Amos, and all her family immensely. What a wonderful, long life she shared. I am blessed to have known and loved her.

I worked with Marie at St Bernard’s Home Health when the agency was just starting. Marie was a very caring and kind soul. She taught me a lot about life, love and compassion along with a wealth of nursing skills, since I had just graduated as an RN. Her faith and strength is what I admired the most about Marie. She will be missed by many, but her legacy will continue on in our hearts.
