Constance Jean Hopper, age 87, of Marshall, Arkansas, formerly of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed from this life on Sunday, October 20th, 2024 at Highland Court. She was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on August 30th, 1937 to Jean Frank Brown and Juanita Blanche Baker Brown.

Constance was of the Christian faith. She enjoyed sewing, embroidery and quilting. She was a wonderful caregiver and homemaker. The name she loved the most was ''Mamaw''. Her grandkids and great-grandkids were the light of her eye.

Survivors include her children, Thomas McBroom (Barbara) of Marshall, Arkansas, Nita Colson (Billy) of Owasso, Oklahoma and David McBroom (Barbara Marie) of West Fork, Arkansas; grandchildren, Christy Jean Dye of Elkins, Arkansas, Sarah McBroom of Austin, Texas, David Lee Colson (Lynn) of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Joseph Colson of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Nicole Avitts (Alex) of Prairie Grove, Arkansas; great-grandchildren, Derrick, Bo, Andre, Christopher, Ezekiel, Noah, Cadence, Jacob, Briella and Brianna; great-great grandchild, Rylie; brothers, Ronald Troy Brown of Louisville, Kentucky and Leo Brown (Diane) of Bentonville, Arkansas and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends who will also mourn her passing.

Constance is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Juanita Brown; her husband, Merlin Edwin Hopper and brother, Larry Brown.

Private family services will be held at a later date.

Tom, David,Nita, I’m sorry to hear of your moms passing, she was always so kind to me and made me feel welcome.
