December 6, 1936 - October 12, 2024

Ola Faye (Burrow) Marshall, age 85, of Yellville, Arkansas and Reston, Virginia, passed away on October 10, 2024 at Reston Hospital Center.

She was born on December 6, 1939 at home in Yellville, she was the daughter of the late Mason and Lois (Melton) Burrow. In her early life, Ola Faye did not graduate high school, however, years later tested for and received her GED and passed in the top 90 percent of the nation. She then went on to attend College starting at Harrison Vo-Tech where she worked after completing the courses and graduated with honors from North Arkansas Community College. She then became an Administrator for the City of Summit. A longtime resident of Marion County, Ola Faye was a poet and artist and a member of the Pleasant Ridge Methodist Church.

Ola Faye is survived by sons, Jimmy Lanning, Gary Marshall and Greg Marshall; daughter, Sybil Lang; sister, Syble Johnson; nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; one brother; one sister and one son.

A graveside service will be held at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery on Thursday, October 24,2024 at 10:00 am with Rev Keith Fink officiating.

MY SYMPATHY TO ALL THE FAMILY. I ATTENDED NORTH ARKANSAS COMMUNITY WITH FAYE AND SHE WAS A GREAT FRIEND. I HAD LOST CONTACT WITH HER IN THE PAST FEW YEARS, BUT NEVER FORGOT HER, MY PRAYERS FOR ALL OF YOU
