Virginia Ann Rhea

of Prattsville, AR

February 15, 1939 - October 4, 2024

Virginia Anne Lero Beck Rhea, 85, of Prattsville, Arkansas passed away peacefully at home on October 4, 2024. She was a beloved member of the community and will be remembered for her kind heart and generous spirit. Virginia was born on February 15, 1939 and lived a full and vibrant life. She was known for her love of gardening and her passion for serving Jehovah.

The love of her life, she married when she was 15 years old, "Jimmy" and they would have been married 70 years but he passed away in 2000. She is also preceded in death by her second husband, Wayne Rhea, who passed away in 2016 and children, James Allen Beck, Regina Gale Beck and her triplet babies in the womb. She is survived by her two children, James Randy Beck and Jon Matthew Beck. One grandchild Cassie L. Beck/Farr (Dustin Farr) and four great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn Heard, Elizabeth Farr, Shyann Farr and Jazmine Farr. In addition, Virginia is survived by her three step-children, Linden Wayne Rhea (Kay), Walter Joel Rhea (Cindy) and William Jason Rhea (LaDonna).

Jehovah asked our brothers to care for the widows and Wayne Rhea succeeded in doing so from 2002 to 2016. Wayne helped to bring the best out of V-Maw, in many ways no one else had in her life. They traveled and enjoyed Jehovah's creation with many family members and friends.

Virginia was a strong-willed, wonderful wife and widow that carried Jimmy and Wayne through sickness and health. She was a virtuous wife which the Bible shows us in Proverbs 31. She has shown so much knowledge and strength through her eighty-five years of life. Virginia's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her and she will be dearly missed by her family, friends and neighbors. She is resting in peace.

Memorial will be at the Kingdom Hall, 2511 Hwy 190 S, Prattsville, AR 72129 on Sunday, October 13th, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. To follow we will gather in her home to celebrate together her memory.

I first met Virginia at the Kingdom Hall (of course, right!) my family was new to the Benton congregation and Virginia and Jimmy had us over for a meal (again, of course they did!) Virginia became a treasured friend. When my Dad died and in my grief I only craved tomatoes, Virginia brought me tomatoes fresh from her garden twice a day. She remained a friend for years and She even travelled to Illinois with my mom to visit me after I got married. She was a wonderful person a wonderful friend.

My deepest sympathy to the family. She will be missed until Jehovah brings her back in paradise.

My thoughts and prayers and love are with her family and friends. She always treated me, my son, Dusty Farr, Cassie, and my granddaughters with love and kindness. She was very generous to everyone.

When I was a young boy, Jimmy and Virginia and their family came to the Sheridan Cong. to provide support when we were a small, isolated group of Witnesses. She certainly has a long track record of faithfulness to God and her family. I saw her in Wal Mart a few months ago and gave her a gentle hug. I am glad I had that moment to share with her. As we remember her life and all the good things she accomplished, no doubt Jehovah God and Jesus Christ will also remember. (Mal. 3:16) Rest easy young lady, until you hear the Son's voice and "come out" to the real life under Kingdom rule. My sympathy to the family and the Prattsville Congregation.
