of Maumelle, AR
November 13, 1947 - October 1, 2024
Richard Gregory, 76, passed away on October 1, 2024. He was born on November 13, 1947 in Hastings, Nebraska to Keith and Arlene Gregory. He was a member of Pleasant Valley Church of Christ and then Windsong Church of Christ at the end of his life.
In 1965 Richard graduated from Derby High School in Kansas. At 15 years old he met the love of his life Brenda Prim at a skating rink in Wichita. They were married at 18 at the Derby Church of Christ. They later moved to York, Nebraska for college, then transferring to Harding University. A year later he was offered a job at The Sketch Box Gallery in Little Rock. In 1970 they welcomed a baby girl, Stormy into the world. After she was born he opened his own business, Reflections Gallery in Little Rock where he worked for 30 years until he retired.
Richard loved to turkey and deer hunt, but was known to shoot a duck or two. He loved fishing on Lake Maumelle. He spent countless hours turkey and deer hunting in Delight, AR and Martin, Tennessee. Richard loved driving the boat on Lake Ouachita and De Gray, trying to knock Stormy off the inner tube, off her skis and making a game out of trying to get Brenda's hair wet, annoying her to no end.
Richard is survived by his wife, Brenda and Daughter, Stormy; son in law, Dominic and grandchildren, Cole and Jake and his brother, David Gregory of Temperanceville, Virginia.
Memorial service is scheduled for 11:00am Saturday, October 5th at Windsong Church of Christ in Maumelle, AR. The family will receive guests from 10:30am until service time.
My sweet Brenda,
I think of you often and hate that we have lost touch. Roberta told me about Richard. My heart goes out to you, Stormy, and the grandkids. Wishing you all peace and comfort. Love always.

We are saddened to lose Richard. We offer our deepest sympathy to you Stormy your sweet Mom and all family.
You are loved
For Brenda and Stormy.
I am sad to hear of RIchards passing. I worked side by side whith Richard for 13 years. Our group at the Sketch Box, Mitch, Louie, Marcia and Mrs. Joyce Boswell were a very close knit group. As all our lives moved in different ways we all have fond memories to remember; a time in our lives of growing up a little more.
I have good memories of Richard.

Richard was my friendly competitor in the world of custom picture framing. Even before I closed up my shop, he hired me on the spot. In my world we would say he was a “real mensch”. He loved his wife, daughter, son-in-law and his two grandsons. I loved working with Richard. Rest in heaven but, let God know you do ALL the custom framing for him!!!
