Jane Odean Powell, 67, of Batesville passed away Friday, September 27, 2024.

She was born January 5, 1957 in Batesville, Arkansas to Lotis Dean Powell and Opal Fayrene Davis Powell.

Jane was a graduate of Cave City High School. She worked for White Rodgers for 25 years and also worked for Flowers Bakery. Jane was a very kind hearted woman who loved her family, her dogs and cats and watching birds. She also enjoyed sewing and working in her flower garden.

Survivors include her sister, Linda Crawford (Perry) of Batesville; two nephews, Chad Sandy and Paul Sandy (Haley); and ten great-nieces and nephews, Monica Grissom (Kyler), Destynie Moore (Kolton), Hannah Rodriguez (Joe), Chloe, Faith, Kali, Brayden, Raelynn, Emma and Sadye Sandy.

She is preceded in death by her parents and one nephew, Jarrett Sandy.

Pallbearers are Kyler Grissom, Kolton Moore, Kevin Couch, Paul Sandy, Chad Sandy and Braden Sandy. Honorary pallbearers are Jimmy Crawford and Alex Harmon.

Funeral services will be held Monday, September 30, 2024 at 10:00am at the Roller-Crouch Funeral Home in Batesville with Tracy Grissom officiating. Burial will follow at Egner Cemetery.

A visitation will be held from 9:00am until service time.

Memorials may be made in her honor to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741 or to Corinth Missionary Baptist Church, 990 Grange Rd, Cave City, AR 72521.
