Cindy Kantz

of Higden, AR

November 26, 1959 - September 18, 2024

Cynthia or Cindy Lynn Kantz, 64, of Higden, Arkansas was born in Royal Oak, Michigan on November 26, 1959 to the late Marvin and Patricia Zorn and went to be with her Lord on September 18, 2024 surrounded by loved ones. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Kenny Zorn.

Cindy a was a pillar of devotion, she selflessly put family first, celebrating their accomplishments and giving encouragement when needed. She and Tim were blessed with many beautiful years of love that continued to flourish throughout the years. Cindy found joy in beach vacations, retail therapy, savory lunches at Bentley's in Greers Ferry and nurturing her plants and flowers. Her life's greatest treasure was time spent with family, especially her cherished grandchildren, who received an abundance of love and generosity from her caring heart. When "Under the Bridge" by Red Hot Chili Peppers plays, honor Cindy's memory by cherishing the love and moments shared with those who knew and loved her.

Left to cherish her memory are her beloved husband, Tim Kantz of the home; two sons, Joseph Kantz (Kayla Vandiver), Christopher Kantz (Jammie Pruitt); grandchildren, Haley Kantz (Daniel Eoff), Tanner Kantz, Hunter Tackett, Brody Kantz; siblings, Doug Zorn, Cathy Thatcher, Debbie Togger and many friends.

There will be a Celebration of Life for Cindy at a later date.

I remember the day you were born. Mom was up most of the night, cleaning the basement floor and getting ready to host Thanksgiving dinner. Well, you decided you didn't want to miss the turkey, so mom went into labor with you. We had to move all the food and such to Aunt Leona's house and wait for dad to call and give us the news. He called and said it was a girl, and being the biggest older sister, he said I could name you. Cynthia Lynn Zorn was born.

I am so terribly sorry for your loss. Cindy is an amazing woman and she not only cared for her family but also her family's many friends that would always just pop in whenever they wanted. To this day, I know that if I were to stop by, she would graciously welcome me into her home and we would talk for hours like no time had ever gone by. Again, guys, I am sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

You have been a part of my life for a long time and you will be so missed! Fly high sweet Angel and watch over all of us down here!

Cindy you was one of the best friends a family could have. You made sure we made it to doctor appointments and to buy groceries . You loved your family and grandchildren so very much. Your boys were your pride and joy. And Tim you loved him so very much. Not being able to see and talk to you is breaking my heart. You’re with your mom, dad and brother now. Rest in peace.
