Gregory Lynn Milam, age 62, of Marshall, Arkansas passed from this life on Wednesday, September 25th, 2024 at the home of his nephew in Dover, Arkansas. He was born in St. Louis, Missouri on December 2nd, 1961 to Darwin Dempsey Milam and Betty Lou Jackson Milam.
Greg enjoyed hunting, being outdoors and riding his motorcycle. His happy place was staying on the mountain at his grandfather's home place in Witts Springs. It was there that his carefree spirit was at rest.
Survivors include his dad, Dempsey Milam of Marshall; his siblings, Teresa Laffoon (Aubrey) of Cozahome and Kimberly Fountain (Russ) of Tilly; girlfriend, Joanna Zeigler of Russellville; nephews, Dempsey Vickers (Wendy) of Dover, Gary Vickers (Sarah) of Russellville, Emmett Fountain and Everett Fountain both of Tilly and numerous aunts/uncles, cousins and extended family.
Greg is preceded in death by his mother, Betty Lou Milam, who passed away in 2021; maternal grandparents, Georgia and Mirl Jackson and paternal grandparents, Herb and Myrtle Milam.
Graveside services for Greg will be 2:00 PM Monday, September 30th, 2024 at East Lawn Cemetery in Marshall, Arkansas with Bro. John Owen and Bro. Russ Fountain officiating. Special music will be performed by Bro. Aubrey Laffoon. Following the service everyone is invited to come by Dempsey's home at 232 Sandstone Drive in Marshall to visit with the family.
