of Batesville, AR
November 4, 1975 - September 22, 2024
John Marcus Jackson (Marc), 48, of Batesville passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 22, 2024. Marc left those who loved him with beautiful memories, love and a legacy of inspiration fondly known as Marc's Musings.
He was born November 4, 1975 in Little Rock, Arkansas to John Lewis Jackson and Claudia (Stafford) Jackson. Survivors include his parents, John and Claudia Jackson of Mountain Home; his brother, James Matthew Jackson of Mountain Home and a wealth of family and friends. He is preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents.
Marc was a free spirit who danced to the beat of his own drum. His nature was kind and intuitive. He had a lifelong love of sports, nature and all animals. He lived in various places; his favorites were California, the high desert and near the ocean, where he loved swimming and surfing. He had a passion for writing poems and lyrics. He played guitar and keyboard and loved singing; he dreamed of returning to California and singing on the beach. He graduated from California State University with a B.S. in Biology.
In a recent musing, he wrote: "I fly with the doves of peace to land on mountainous heights where no one assumes they have the right. Talking to myself, knowing only peace, singing to myself, pieces of a shattered past piecing together a puzzle never meant to last in a whole world, I stand alone, creating visions".
Fly high Marc. You were a father figure and a friend. Gonna miss you.
So Very sorry for your loss. Prayers for comfort and peace. Know that he is at peace with our Saviour Jesus .
