Linda Mae Ramsey Mize, 81, of Vilonia, Arkansas passed from this life on September 23, 2024. She was born in Vilonia on November 30, 1942 to the late Tharp and Nellie Tucker Ramsey.
Linda graduated from Vilonia High School in 1960 and spent her life as a mother and homemaker, making sure her husband always had freshly pressed shirts and pants to wear. She was a charter member of Belmont Chapel, where she taught Sunday School for many years.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Ervin Mize, who passed on April 30, 2015. She is survived by two children, Kevin Mize (Albert Sotelo) of the Philippines, Kimberly Terrell (Chad) of Maumelle; granddaughter Eleanor Terrell of Maumelle; four sisters, Nannette Ramsey of Conway, Sue Davis of Bee Branch, Sharon McGraw (Jim) of Vilonia and Karen Varner (Steve) of Vilonia; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and loving friends.
A visitation will be at 1:00pm Saturday, September 28, 2024 followed by a funeral service at 2:00pm, all at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway, AR. Johnny Wooley and John McGraw will be officiating. Final interment will be in Cypress Valley Cemetery, Vilonia, AR. Serving as pallbearers will be John McGraw, Tim McGraw, Charles Tilley, Frankie Farris, Eugene Farris and Steve Varner. Honorary pallbearers are Jim McGraw and Eric Varner.
Linda was a special person and she will be missed daily. She and my brother Fred, were the ones that picked me up when I couldn’t keep up.Iloved her dearly mythoughts and prayers are with the Ramsey Mize and Tucker families Rest in Peace Debbie.
Mrs. Linda was always so kind to us and our family. She was the best neighbor. She will be missed!
