Saddened for your loss
For 53 years, Huey & I have been instant great best friends. He always had that special place in my heart. We had “best of time” & also “bitter set backs”. I can’t imagine a life without him. He’s always been “best light of my life”. He always assured me that he really did love me. I always loved and cared for him also. Even though we still loved in 2019, age was against us. We always tired!—3 times for sure. Through it all, God cared and He gave us a big blessing. An infant daughter, “our little angel” who always watched over us. Thank you God for Wenona Gayle! Jawanda and Curtis, I’ll always love you guys. Praying for you. I’ve alway loved you and will love you still! It’s been great!

Jawanda and Curtis and families, Dick just informed us of Uncle Huey's passing. Your Dad, our Uncle, was loved by all who knew him. We especially cherish the many times we visited him at Grandma's. from the time we were children, until just a few years ago. So many great memories!
Love you all---Jean & Rick, Dick and Nancy, and Families----our children all remember him with fondness, too.
Love and prayers for Jawanda, Curtis and all the extended family! He was such a nice and humble man!
Curtis & family our condolences to you all. The stories that Kimberly shared of him were mostly funny. I’m sure they will never get old telling. We love you all & remember all the good times you had while he was here. Sincerely the Porter’s
I loved Huey. My dad looked forward to drinking coffee with him at least once a week before his health got bad. Huey had much love for my mom too. He always treated me with love whenever we were around. I did enjoy spending holidays with him. Prayers and hugs to Curtis and Jawanda. Much love~Mar
