I talked to Jim after he was released from the hospital a little over a week ago. When I asked how he was doing. He said, It is what it is. Those words told me, he was leaving us very soon.
We had breakfast many times over the years, plus grilling steaks outside on his porch for lunch, while playing dice. He enjoyed hunting and playing pool. He loved his property and his truck too.
Jim was a awesome sweet friend. He was kind hearted. When I was down and alone, he would call to check on me, and invite me over.
Never think you have time to see someone, God takes them when he is ready, not when your ready.
I miss his big hugs and forehead kisses. He was so loved.
Condolences to Jim's family and friends. Praying for comfort and peace furing this difficult journey.
