I loved working with this elegant sweet , tender hearted, kind , intelligent Christian LADY! We were great friends and I had a lot of fun with her. She shared so many stories with me from her childhood all the way up and we often looked at her treasured family picture albums. She was full of love, especially for her family. I love you Janice . I know you have reunited with your husband and loved ones gone before. Our loss, sweet Heaven’s gain!
Words would never do justice to this special lady. She was so kind and considerate of others. She made me feel like one of her own. I loved her dearly.
Janice was always a friend to my Mom and to my aunt and uncle. I know she’ll be greatly missed by family and friends alike. Wishing you peace to face the days ahead and loving memories to forever hold in your hearts!
I am so sad in learning of your loss. I feel like I've known her all my life. She & your Dad were friends with my parents & I can remember them coming to Guion when Mr. Johnnie was "The Maytag Man" to work on mom's appliances. She wouldn't have any other brand. I was probably 7 or 8 years old & I can remember her sweet smile & laugh from then. Later after we moved to Batesville & I worked for Dr. Walton, it was my privilege to help with their care. She was a precious lady with a beautiful smile & personality. She loved her family and would often tell me about their achievements. Praying for comfort, strength & peace that passes all understanding during this sad time.
In His love.....

I worked for Janice at Arkansas College. She.was so good to me. She was so kind to me. She was so understanding. I couldn't have asked for a better boss. The office was broken into while I worked there. I had a key to get into the office to use the restroom because I worked at night on the switchboard. They wanted to accuse me of giving the key to the persons who broke in to the office. She stood up for me. She told them there was no way that I would give anyone the key. She was correct. I didn't. That taught me so much about loyalty. I have never forgotten that someone stood up for me who hadn't known me my entire life. I was so grateful and think about this often. She taught me how to be treated. She invited the switchboard girls to her home to celebrate Christmas. I have never forgotten that meal. She made such an impression on me, one that still lives with me today. A friend texted me about her death. When I read her obituary I thought...it sums her up so well. She was classy and loved her family. She talked to me about her son, daughter, and husband so much I felt as though I knew them personally. She was such a great woman.
Sending love and prayers to Brent, Jerri and families. Jan was such a sweet lady and I’m so thankful I had the chance to get to know her at various family gatherings over the years!
