Mrs. Mary Buckley, 98, of Mountain Home, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, September 8, 2024 in Gassville. She was born in Boden, Illinois to Andrew and Anna Mital and was married to Robert (Bob) Buckley. Mary led a full and spirited life.
Before her retirement, Mary worked as an administrative assistant for Ametek, where she was known for her efficiency and dedication. Beyond her professional life, Mary was cherished for her quick wit and occasionally ornery nature. Her blunt responses often hid a heart of gold, endearing her to many. Mary was proud of Slovak heritage and faith, often speaking and writing in Slovak to friends and family.
Mary is survived by numerous nieces and nephews, as well as her dear friends, Earl and Rebekah Cruse.
A visitation will be held at Dennison Funeral Home on 9/13/2024 from 12:30 to 1:30 pm, followed by a graveside service at Farlow Grove Cemetery at 2:00 pm. Mary's unique spirit and loving nature will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
