Mr. Brown lived across the street from me. I loved seeing him sit outside and visit with family and neighbors. If he was out when I left my driveway, I always got a wave. Rest in peace sir.

Knew Okie from our years working together ar Arkansas State University and as neighbors. In later years when walking our dog, I would look up to his window and hope to see him waving. Sending prayers to his family and friends. I cherish knowing he was our friend.

Sweet memories of Okie and Mrs Sue come to mind, although their kind welcoming smiles and soft mannerisms were always admired

My family met Okie, Sue and Eric when we moved to Jonesboro in 1985, becoming neighbors. Their family became ours. Please accept my sincere, heartfelt condolences in hearing of his death. Thank you, Okie, for your service to, and for, our country.
