Lois M. Roden, 83, a resident of Knoxville passed away Friday, August 30, 2024 in Clarksville. She was born May 1, 1941 to the late Oliver and Fern (Lohse) Fordahl in Crosby, North Dakota. She was a member of the First Baptist of Knoxville. Lois was also a beloved employee for many years of the nursing home, now known as Johnson County Health and Rehab.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death her husband, Carl Howard Roden; three sons, Roy Roden, Dan Roden, and Lee Roden and many of her sisters.

Those left to cherish her precious memories include her son, Guy, and wife, Sonja Roden of Huntsville; three grandchildren, Jessica Ewaniuka, Brandon Roden, and Brian Roden and two great-grandchildren, Willow and Chevy.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 5, 2024, at the First Baptist Church of Knoxville.

Cremation arrangements are being made under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home in Clarksville.

Lois ani worked together when she was activity director at the nursing home she tried hard to arrange activities th residents would enjoy from card games to music al groups to outings to fair or parade she was a. Very pleasant person to work with thanks for all you did for the nursing home residents

Sending my deepest sympathies to the family. I was blessed to have gotten to work alongside Lois for several years while at the nursing home. She taught me so much in that time. She will be truly missed.
