Gregory Allen Buckner, age 62, of Paris, AR passed away on Friday August 30, 2024. He was born on November 14, 1961 in Tulsa, OK to his parents Lee James Buckner and Dorothy Crumrine Buckner. He lived a life full of fun and simple pleasures, and was loved by many.
Greg, affectionately known as 'Buck' , loved hunting and fishing, deer camp with friends, riding backroads and watching his grandchildren play ball. He was a devoted NASCAR fan, particularly of his hero, #3, Dale Earnhardt. He loved his dog and having a cold one on the river bank and riding his Harley Softail . He loved the outdoors and enjoyed visiting high bluffs and deep cold creeks in the area.
Greg worked as a machinist at Cloyes Gear for 35 years, then moved to Big River Roller where he worked for 3 years before retiring.
Greg is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his children, daughter, Sunnee Maxwell and husband, Ryan of Ozark; son, Avery Buckner of Paris and step daughter, Amy White and husband , Justin of Quitman; along with grandchildren, Ryker, Lindlee, Gunnar, Kade, Addison and Cason. He is also survived by his older brother, Garry Buckner and wife, Quita, and family.
A memorial visitation is scheduled for Friday, September 6th from 5-7 pm at Roller Funeral Home in Paris. Cremation will follow the visitation under the direction of Roller Funeral Home.
My deepest condolences to all the Family & Friends. Greg was a schoolmate & I loved the old truck he had in school. I even got to ride in it. Lost track through School & Life but Greg will be forever remembered in many hearts & our thoughts. Prayers for his Family

I worked with Greg for 10 years at Cloyes Gear... one of the best people I knew with a great sense of humor as well. My condolences to all his family and friends. RIP sir, I know you'll be missed.
Me and my brother's grew up with buck. Remember Greg being at a lot of my family get togethers. I remember we all went to Chicago to the science and Industrial Museum we were all young . I also had a great time at Dogpatch . He was family to us. And we all love him. We're so sorry for the family's loss. Prayers for all
