Connie, Morgan, and family,
Words cannot describe what Ricky meant to me and to all of us. I will forever cherish all of our conversations, laughs, and things he would try to teach me how to fix in my office and at home, and our sweet conversations about our cats and our mutual love of plants. He was so sweet, caring, smart and knowledgeable in so many things, and taught me a lot about how to look at life and the things that are important. When we lose someone so special, like Ricky, it helps to remember that life and love continue far beyond what we can see and touch. You guys are in my thoughts and prayers.
The Central High School Class of 1974 extend our sympathy to our classmate Mrs. Connie Morgan Johnston and Family.

Connie, Morgan, and family I am so sorry that Ricky is gone. His love of life was infectious. We used to kid him that he was so tight he squeaked when he walked and he would just smile that big ole grin of his.
His love for the Lord is our assurance that we will see him again. May you all feel Gods loving arms around you as you travel through the days ahead. My prayers and love to you all.
Connie,
What an honor and joy to be able to call Ricky my buddy. He was in my class at school then I had the pleasure of getting to work with him at Big Star. We had a blast back in the meat department with him and Perry, never a dull moment. Ricky loved Star Wars which became every Monday morning topic. He was so smart and kind and always knew he had hit the jackpot with you. He sure did love you and Morgan. He will be missed but always be in our heart…
