Donnie Ray Armstrong went to Heaven on August 22, 2024. He was 76 years old. He was born December 12, 1947 in Wardell, Missouri to Leslie and Laura Armstrong. He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Leck Todd Armstrong and Billy Armstrong and sister, Elizabeth Susanna Armstrong.

Donnie was a graduate of Marion High School in the class of 1968. He worked at Ducks Carpet and Deltoney Interiors as an installer. His family and friends would say he was a jack of all trades but master of none. He always played games on the computer or tinkered with something. He was a wild and rowdy spirit in his younger years. He always had a big heart and was named the gentle giant. As every member of his family can vouch, he was an amazing husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Donnie never met a stranger and would try to help anyone he could. He made many sacrifices for his family who he loved with all his heart.

Donnie is survived by his loving wife, Rebecca Jane Armstrong; son, Donnie Armstrong JR; daughter, Tonya Denisse Holt; two sisters, Margie Armstrong and Darlene Meek; brother, Jerry Armstrong; 3 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Services are being held at Roller Citizens Funeral Home in West Memphis, Arkansas on Thursday, August 29, 2024. Visitation begins at 11:00AM in the Chapel, with funeral services being held graveside at Crittenden Memorial Park at 12:30PM.
