Prentiss Lowell Lewis went to his heavenly home on August 15, 2024. He was 87 years old. He was born to Prentiss and Ethel Lewis on February 8, 1937 in Memphis, Tennessee. Prentiss is preceded in death by his parents, Prentiss and Ethel; his daughter, Rebecca Sechrest, son in law, Bradley Sechrest, and wife, Linda Lewis.
Prentiss was a member of Horseshoe Lake Baptist Church. He loved his church family dearly and loved spreading the word of God. In his past time, he loved to fish and hunt and would even take some of his fresh catch to families in his community. He served in the United States Navy for 10 years. During his working years he was a State Trooper and truck driver. His favorites past times were loving on his grand children and spending time with family and friends.
Prentiss is survived by his granddaughter, Lindsey (Tyler) Stevens of Paragould; two great-grandchildren, Preslee and Bryson Stevens; son, Randy; daughter, Pam of Monticello. The family would like to give a special thanks to Mack & Kathy Howell, Richard Howell, Sue Raskovsky, Suzanne Williams and Gerald Morgan for taking special care of him over the years and loving him like family. Thank you to Lora & Mark Rainwater for taking his precious baby, Belle and all his fishing, hunting and truck driving buddies.
Funeral Services will be at Crittenden Memorial Park Cemetery on Wednesday, August 21, 2024 as a graveside only, starting at 10:00AM.
