Janet Ann Harmon, 63, of Lamar, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, August 14, 2024 in Fayetteville. She was born September 4, 1960 in Clarksville to Myron and Barbara (Richardson) Been. Janet worked for Clarksville Insurance Agency, was a stay-at-home mom for many years and later worked for King, Jacobs and Lorfing. She was a long-time member of the Clarksville Church of Christ. Janet enjoyed singing, music and attending concerts. She loved cooking for her family, especially around the holidays. Janet loved her family most of all.
Janet is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 38 years, Steve Harmon; mother, Barbara Been; father in-law and mother in-law, Kenneth and Charlotte Harmon and brother in-law, Chuck Lorfing.
Janet is survived by two sons, Jonathan Kent Harmon and Nicholas Clay Harmon both of Little Rock; father, Myron Been of Clarksville; brother, Randy Been and wife, Stephanie of Clarksville; sister, Rhonda Lorfing of Clarksville; brother in-law, Rick Harmon of Lamar; nieces and nephews, Grant Harmon, Ryan Harmon, Sigrid Goodwin and Sydne Lorfing.
Visitation will be from 2:00-4:00 PM on Sunday, August 18, 2024 at Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel in Clarksville. Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Monday, August 19, 2024 at Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Lamar Cemetery.
