So very sorry ! Praying
David, Dennis and Fleming family....just found out today that David has passed away. My heart truly aches upon hearing this news. My Mother is a resident at Superior and I have gotten to know David over the past two years when visiting my Mom. He was always so kind to my Mom. She is a bit quiet and tends to keep to herself. But David NEVER gave up trying to pull her out of her shell. About a year or so ago he was sitting outside visiting with his friend when I came to see my Mom. David was SO excited to tell me that my Mom finally started talking with him after months of her staying quiet when he would try to engage her in conversation!! From that point on he would always give me an update on how she was doing every time I came to visit and he was sitting outside with his friend. He was always so positive about life in spite of his own situation. I've only known David for a little over two years while my Mom has been at Superior but I feel like I've lost a life-long friend! Superior just won't be the same without David scootin' around the facility backwards in his wheelchair, he had it down to a very fine art! And I don't believe he ever ran into anyone or anything! There's rejoicing in heaven welcoming David home as we shed tears of goodbye here on earth. Praying for you all as you process the pain of losing your loved one!
I will miss you Uncle David! I will cherish all the times we had! Like you always said "we aren't blood family, but you're my family"! Since the day I was born! Love you! Can't wait to see you again some day!
Dennis and Danny so so sorry to hear about David. I will be praying for your families.
Dennis and Danny, so sorry for your family's loss. I worked at CHDC with Iva and met David in 1980. He was always sweet and I remember how he loved sports! I know his health has been bad for many years but now he's free from pain and sorrow. He is with his mom, dad, and his daughter again. Hugs to you all.
My deepest condolences to the family, David was a very good friend of mine, we worked together for many years at CHDC and he will be missed.
When I think of David, I think of strength. He had some hard last years, but is struggling no more. I know when he got to heaven he ran into the Lord’s arms. Pain gone. I had visited with him recently @ Superior & on FB on occasion. Prayers for y’all.
So sorry for your family's loss. David was such a kind man and we always enjoyed seeing him at church. Praying for your family.
So sad to know that I won't have the pleasure of speaking with David again here on this earth, but look forward to spending some time with him in our Heavenly home some day.
Dennis and Danny:
I'm so sorry to learn of this news. David was a dear friend to me since we were kids. I remember the days of baseball at the YBMA fairgrounds, playing ball with all of the Fleming boys. I think most of you were on my teams throughout the years. I lost touch with David the last 3 years or so. I regret not finding the time to go see him. One thing for sure...when you have a dear friend for life, you will never forget what an impact they made on your life. David was that kind of friend. My deepest sympathy to you all. Godspeed brother. Have that Heavenly ball field ready for another player. See you on the other side one day. Bob
I am so sorry for your loss. David was a good friend and was good to my kids. He will be missed

Dear family, we are sorry to hear of your great loss (David Fleming). He was such an encouragement every time he was at church even in the hallways of Superior. He would always say “he was blessed” even if he had cancer. WOW and now waking the streets of gold. We will continue to pray for you as you face the days ahead. “He is Blessed”
