Margie F. Douglas passed away on August 11, 2024. She was 79 years old. She was born to William and Irene Foster on June 22, 1945 in Harrisburg, Arkansas. Margie is preceded in death by her parents, William and Irene Foster and husband, James O Douglas Jr.
Margie was a member of Marion First Baptist Church and attended the Sunday School program. She had many hobbies that she greatly enjoyed. She was a master seamstress and a loving homemaker. When she wasn't shopping at flea markets or taking care of her family, she enjoyed some fun while taking dance classes.
She is survived by son, Steven Douglas Stevenson (Jerry); daughters, Sherry Kent, Tina (Brian) Hester; brother, Bill (Jessie) Foster; sister, Sandra (Bob) Myers; two grandchildren, Tyler Kent, Jonathan (Natalie) Kent and one great grandchild, Hattie Kent.
Funeral services will be held at Roller Citizens Funeral Home in West Memphis on Thursday, August 15, 2024. The visitation will start at 12:00 PM and funeral will immediately follow at 1:00 PM.
