of Proctor, AR
March 4, 1933 - August 7, 2024
Willie B. "Bill" went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 7, 2024. He was 91 years old.
Fishing was a favorite pass time of Willie's, as far back as his childhood, when going with his father on commercial fishing trips. He also enjoyed working and restoring old cars with his sons. He also loved doing things with his family and going to church. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, West Memphis. Arkansas.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Blanchard Patton and son, Willie T. Patton. Brothers, Danny Patton, Larry Patton and Ricky Patton. He is survived by one daughter, Linda Loomis of Crowne Point, Indiana and one son, Albert (Cindy) Patton of Proctor, Arkansas. He also leaves 7 grandchildren; Dee Samano, Carrie Clatterbuck, Donna Cacini, Lucas Patton, Derek Patton, Eric Patton and Stephanie Patton. He also leaves 6 great grandchildren; Brittany, Dianna, Shawnna, Savanna, Logan, Emma, and 1 great-great grandchild, Holden. He also leaves his beloved dog, Tammie.
Willie worked hard to care for his family. He was a mechanic at American Can, Chicago, Illinois and when he retired he and his wife moved back to Arkansas and settled in Proctor, and worked as a maintenance man for Pugh Partnership. After fully being retired he spent his free time fishing.
I could not have asked for a more caring, patient, kind, funny and loving man to call my father in law. You always considered me as your daughter, and I thank you for that. I know that you are at peace now and are with mom and Willie. I love you Dad!
Becky Patton (Wife of late Willie T Patton)

Al and Cindy, So sorry for your loss. I enjoyed getting to know Mr. Patton many years ago. He was so nice and a true gentleman.
Prayers for y’all and your family.
Bro. Bill was one of a kind and much loved by my family. We attended church for many years together at Liberty Baptist and enjoyed many times together, one special time was going to “First Monday” in Ripley. Until we meet again my friend. Much love to Al and the family!
Evelyn and Willie were very special to our family. We loved them and we know we were loved by them. We miss them.
Love and prayers to Al and Cindy and Linda.
