Cherry C. Beaver (72) of Marion, Arkansas known to many as ''Toots'', went to her heavenly home on August 1, 2024. Cherry Beaver was born to Andy Morris Cook and Vodia Oladean Cook on October 1, 1951, in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Cherry was married for fifty years to the love of her life Gilbert M. Beaver Sr. They enjoyed Dinos supper nights and many games of Scrabble and Othello. They shared and enjoyed life to their own beat. Cherry loved to watch old black and white movies and many reruns of Mamas Family. She enjoyed a multitude of books, the bible being her favorite. Cherry was of Christian faith and is now home with the Lord and her husband, Gil, whom she missed dearly. Cherry is survived by her two children Gilbert M. Beaver Jr and Leigh Beaver Conner (Clyde W.) and grandson Colin W. Conner all of Marion, Arkansas. Cherry is preceded in death by her husband Gilbert M. Beaver Sr and father and mother. Lasting memorials can be made to the St. Jude Children's Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. There will be a Celebration of Life for Cherry on August 10, 2024, at 335 Geelan in Marion, Arkansas at 1 p.m. Food and refreshments will be served. Please come casual and we hope to be able to celebrate our mother's life with everyone on this day.

I was so sorry to learn of Cherry's passing. I have known them since they first moved to West Memphis . We were neighbors at the old Fountainhead Apts and spent much time together. She was such a sweet lady and fun to be around. She will be greatly missed. Butch Cordell
