Thomas L Beloate passed away on Sunday, August 4, 2024 at the age of 83. He was born to Marion and Lois Lee Beloate in Memphis, Tennessee on April 10, 1941. Thomas is preceded in death by is his parents, Marion and Lois Lee Beloate; three sisters, Marion Lee, Sarah Glenn, Linda Studdard and three brothers, Wooten ''Woody'' Beloate, Mickey Ray Beloate and Meryl Travis Beloate.
Thomas was a 40-year member of Bellevue Baptist Church under the teachings of Dr. Adrian Rogers and John Caldwell. He was also a baptismal committee member and children's division member for 20 years. During his working years he earned a living as a master plumber in Arkansas and Tennessee. He loved to be outdoors and had an eye for gardening. During his outdoor adventures, Thomas would be seen fishing and doing lots of traveling.
Thomas was married to the love of his life, Jean Anne Wright Beloate for 49 years and 10 months. He loved his family and will be deeply missed by them all. Thomas is survived by his wife, Jean Belote; brother, Author Frank Beloate and three sisters, Patricia Ann Tartera, Brenda Tolley and Jeannie Whited.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 8, 2024 at Bellevue Baptist Church at 2:00pm with services to follow at 3:00pm.
