April 11, 1988 - August 2, 2024
James Andrew ''Andy'' Marshall, 36 years old, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on August 2, 2024. He was born on April 11, 1988 in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was preceded in his death by his grandparents, Harley and Cledith Marshall of North Little Rock, Arkansas.
Andy is survived by his parents, Mike and Ginger Marshall; his brother, David Marshall and his grandparents, James and Carolyn Davis all of Conway. He is also survived by many extended family members including aunts, uncles and cousins.
Andy was a member of Woodland Heights Baptist Church, which he attended before college. He completed his elementary education at Conway Christian School and graduated from Conway High School in 2006, where he played on the high school baseball team. Andy had a passion for baseball, both playing and watching it, especially rooting for the Arkansas Razorbacks. He attended the University of Central Arkansas (UCA) before transferring to the University of Arkansas at Little Rock (UALR), where he earned a degree in Criminal Justice in 2010. He went on to graduate with a Juris Doctorate from Bowen School of Law in Little Rock in 2013, where he was published in the Law Review. Andy was recently employed as a partner with the Potts Law Firm in Little Rock, a role he was excited to serve in and loved tremendously.
Andy had a deep love for music and his favorite artists included George Strait and the Eagles. He had a special affection for his two black labs, Jackson (who Andy said helped him through law school and deserved a degree himself) and Django.
Services will be held at Woodland Heights Baptist Church on Saturday, August 10, 2024 starting with a visitation at 10:00am followed by the service at 11:00am. His childhood friend, Garrett Fox, will officiate the service along with Pastor Dr. Larry White of Woodland Heights Baptist Church.
Entombment will follow at Crestlawn Mausoleum, Conway. Pallbearers will include David Marshall, Matt Benson, Luke Rash, Jacob Fenske, Matt Bates and Justin Moore.
In honor of Andy's love for his dogs, donations are requested to be made to Friends of Faulkner County Animal Shelter, in lieu of flowers, P.O. Box 10380, Conway, AR 72033.

It’s hard to find the words to say….Andy was a great friend that I was fortunate to share a lot of laughs and memories with over the years. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and love ones.
Mike, Ginger and David - We are so sad to learn of Andy's passing. We have many wonderful memories of "Cousin Andy" and "Cousin David" during the CCS elementary years. What a blessing it was when God had our paths to cross. We discovered cousins we didn't even know we had! Andy was a sweet young man who accomplished a lot in his short life. We are praying for all of you during this terribly sad time. Our prayer is for the perfect peace and comfort of the Lord to surround and sustain you, and for your cherished memories to ease the pain of separation. Thank God for His promise of a reunion. Love to all of you, Sherri and Gary Cox

Hard to find the right words for this one. Andy was always one of my favorite people. He will be greatly missed. We will keep the family in our prayers.
Mike, Ginger, and David, we are so sorry to hear of the passing of Andy. He was always quick to speak to us when passing and it was always good to see him. He will be missed. We will not be able to attend his funeral as we are traveling out of state. My thoughts and prayers will be with you. May God be with you to fill the void and may you remember the good times with Andy.
Andy was my friend late in elementary school before he switched schools. Over the years, it was always great when we would see each other. We always shared the same interests, even as adults. Life has a way of parting the paths of friends, but there was no love lost with Andy. My heart is heavy at his passing. We can and will always cherish the memories we made with Andy. I pray all friends and family would be comforted. Most of all, I pray this will help us all to realize our need for Jesus Christ. Love to all!
Mike, Ginger and family, we are so sorry for the loss of Andy. Praying God brings peace and comfort to your broken hearts. With deepest sympathy and love to all.
Our family is so sad to hear of Andy's passing. We are praying for all of your family.
Andy was a close friend of mine. His grandparents and, his parents for a time, lived in the same neighborhood as me. We considered each other brothers and his family always treated me like one of their own. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Rest in peace, brother.
Our condolences and prayers in your time of loss. May perpetual light shine on James Andrew.
Mr. and Mrs. Marshall, Andy and David...

I’m so sorry to hear about Andy. I still remember his great smile and attitude in class all those years ago. Please know we’re praying you feel God’s presence, and are comforted in the days ahead.
Andy, I’ve loved you from the beginning and I will love you until we meet again. I will treasure every memory we had together.
Much Love and Prayers.
It’s hard to find words in times like these that trouble the soul. Where words may fail, Jesus be near. My love and affection for the family. Andy and I had many mutual friends and played some seasons of city league softball together, with Garrett Fox and fellow Conway alums. We grieve with those who grieve.
