Dennis and family, I befriended your dad several years ago at Walmart and each time we talked about our military service, I always called him young man and he would laugh and carry on, during the Covid 19 years I always wondered if he would make it thru it and I was so relieved when I started seeing him again. The last time he talked about his family and what you meant to him, it was during this visit that I learned his name . He was a good man who loved his family and his country, I’m going to miss our weekly visits but you will always be remembered each time I go in the store and strike up a conversation with a random stranger, rest easy Marine your watch is over, god bless you all in this time of sorrow
Gail and family, So sorry.
A lot of memories come to my mind. Dennis was one of my 12 cousins. His mom was my mom’s sister. In the “growing up” years the families often went to grandma and grandpa Courtney’s house. All the grandkids had a good time. I will miss his laugh….
So sorry to hear of the loss of Dennis. I have many good memories of getting together with my cousins at Grandma and Grandpa Courtney's house. My Dad (Buddy Courtney) and Dennis's Mom were brother and sister.
Prayers for all the family.
Carol
Until we meet again.
Goodbye pop
