Victor Paul Jensen, 77, of Little Rock, Arkansas, died Monday, July 29, 2024, at his home. He was born August 27, 1946 in Livermore, California, to the late Victor Edward and Flossie Dean (Moring) Jensen. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Delois and a brother, Edward.
Victor was retired from the United States Army after 24 years of service, having served in Desert Storm in Saudi Arabia. After retirement in 1994, he took on a second career with the United State Postal Service for the next 18 years.
He married Jenny Yi in 1971 in Korea, and during their life of adventures with the military, lived in many places, Germany, Alaska, Georgia, Colorado to name a few, not to mention the may places they were able to travel to living in these diverse places such as the Netherlands, Holland, East Germany, Venice, just to name a few. Victor loved music, hunting, fishing-especially ocean fishing when they lived in Alaska.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 53 years, Jenney Jensen of Little Rock; sisters and brothers, Helen Jensen of Indiana; Hubert Jensen of California; Stanley Jensen of California; Dennis Jensen of Indiana and Mary Jensen as well as several nephews and nieces.
Visitation and rosary will be Monday, August 5, 2024, from 6:00-8:00pm in the chapel of Roller-Drummond Funeral Home, with funeral service to be held at 10:00am, Tuesday, August 6, 2024, at Christ the King Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery at 12:00pm, under the direction of Roller-Chenal Funeral Home.
My dear uncle Victor I remember our conversations when we would talk about things that was happening in life our last moment when my mom your sister passed away I remember talking about things you standing over my mom's casket while we let doves go as in remembrance of her you were and always was a great uncle I have many memories to remember you bye until we see each other again RIP Uncle Victor I love you. You are now with your sister and brother.
