June 18, 1939 - July 29, 2024

Parker Elliot Eubanks was born June 18, 1939 in Blytheville, Arkansas to C.L. Eubanks Sr. and Euvie Mae Parker Eubanks. Parker left this world on July 29, 2024 peacefully at his home in Proctor, Arkansas. Parker is preceded in death by his parents; his brother, C.L. Eubanks Jr.; sister in law, Dot Eubanks and his grandson, Brice Nicholas Kane. He is survived by his wife, Linda Nafie Eubanks; daughter, Donna Eubanks (Mike) Kane; son, Richard (Ricky) Elliot (Debbie) Eubanks; two step daughters; two grandchildren, Brett Holland and Tia Beth (Zach) Williams and four great grandchildren; along with a big field of people that think of him as family and friend.

Parker was a successful farmer of Crittenden and St Francis Counties in Arkansas most of his adult life. He was in the United States National Guard. He was very active in his community over the years as well. Among his community attributes, he was a 55 year member of the Crittenden County Sportsman Club, one time chairman of the Crittenden County FSA, member of the West Memphis Jaycees, Rotary Club and Lions Club. Parker was a friend to so many in all walks of life.

The Family would like to thank the kind professionals of Dierksen Hospice, the caring CNA ladies and many friends that showed to give support and help during his illness. We are very grateful for all who helped the journey be a little easier.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St Jude Children's Research Hospital or The Ronald McDonald House.

Graveside Services will be held Privately for the family.

Parker and Junior were like brothers to me and Linda and Sister when I was little.instead of cousins...we even all lived together with them in their "big" house until ours got built when daddy and Uncle Clayton moved to Joiner and started farming together. What memories I have of those times living across the road from them...especially when Parker put me in his cotton sack to make it heavier before it was weighed. He wanted to put my dog in there too but Fuzzy kept barking so he had to get out. He was always "good" at things like that since I was six years younger and too little to pick cotton. Even back then he was always larger than life and into fun. We could count on him being around our dinner table most of the time because he liked my mama's cooking better than my Aunt Euva's...but he usually got two desserts anyway. I am so glad Linda and I got to spend the afternoon with him last summer reminiscing over old times and talking about how we needed to have a family reunion...probably knowing we never would...but it was a good visit anyway and I could tell he enjoyed it as much as we did. Rest in peace, Parker. You are already missed because you have left a BIG void in this old earth.

I am so very sorry for your loss. Parker was a great man. He was always at my Dad’s store when I was a kid working there. Always joking and laughing. He and my dad were great friends. He was also very giving. He rented me one of his houses for almost nothing when I got divorced and was struggling to get my life back together. I know he will be sorely missed by many.

when i was a kid parker told me a story about some time in the 1950's when he and my dad sold fireworks. They had bottle rockets @10 cents each or two for a quarter; people took the two for a quarter almost every time. It was my first business lesson.
Peace to everybody,
Parker you will be missed.

I met Parker in 1970 when I moved to West Memphis and I immediately became one of his friends and he one of mine. To say the least, Parked was much larger than life and was always glad to see you and always had something funny to say. Another Arkansas icon has passed and will be missed by many. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends who are still with us and we know he is now in heaven with his family and friends who have passed before him.....R.I.P "PARKER EU"!!!!!!

This makes me so very sad. Parker was always so full of life, laughter, adventure, and spit and vinegar as my momma would say. I could listen to the stories of his adventures for hours on end. He was generous to a fault and loved his family and friends beyond all measure. I send my sincerest condolences to his family in this very sad and difficult time. I pray that at some point really soon you can look back on his life and legacy and it brings a smile to your face. One thing that always brings that smile to my face is every December of January, he would call our office and switch out his pickups. I would always ask him what color it was, not because it made a difference, but because I liked his response. He would always say “Red.” I would then come back and say, “Parker, why do you always get a red pickup.” Unfailingly he would respond, “It ain’t nobody’s business when I get a new truck, and if it’s always red, nobody knows!” That is classic Parker. I haven’t seen him since I left Crittenden Count 8 1/2 years ago, but he will forever be one of my all time favorites!

Our hearts are heavy with the loss of Parker. So special and not another one like him. He and Gene were in the Guards together and took fishing trips together to Mexico. What stories . He and the Sportsman’s Club adopted my daughter Erica, a St. Jude patient for many years. He was such a special friend and will never be forgotten. He will be missed. Prayers for his family who were special to us. God Bless, out hearts are with each of you.

Ricky, Donna and Family, I’m so sorry for the loss of Mr. Parker. For the past few years mine and Maleys Sundays have started off by taking Mr Parker his paper and breakfast. He always came to the door with a big smile on his face when he would see us. He always asked how Tank was and asked how Maria was. He never failed to make sure we were all good even in the mist of his own struggles. I’m going to miss him terribly but I know I’ll see him again one day. Praying for y’all in the days weeks months to come. May God give you peace and comfort during this time.
