Maxine Trammell, 76, of Mountain View passed away July 27, 2024. She was born August 27, 1947 in Fifty Six, Arkansas to Alvin and Lucy (Gosser) Pitts. Maxine loved the Lord and was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. She was a loving Nanny, wife, mother, sister and aunt.

Maxine was an avid Razorback fan and supported her grandchildren in anything they were involved in. During Christmas, if you drove out West 66, you couldn't miss her Christmas lights. However, she liked putting them up much more than she did taking them down.

Maxine is survived by her spouse, JE Trammell; son, Tony Trammell (Theresa); stepson, James Trammell (Loretta); step daughter, Shannon Trammell Brackett; grandchildren; Kadie Branscum, Renea Morgan, Christopher Callahan, Laken Powell, Kim Gilbert, Cody Brackett, Brandon Trammell, Grace Trammell, James Ewing Trammell; sister, Irene Willming; brothers, Roy Dean Pitts and Ronnie Pitts and 25 great grandchildren. Along with a host of family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Alvin and Lucy (Gosser) Pitts; sister, Darlene Smith and brother, Carl Gene Pitts.
A visitation will be held Saturday, August 3, 2024 from 1:00PM -2:00PM at Roller Crouch Funeral Home Chapel. A funeral service will follow at 2:00PM at Roller Crouch Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Daryl Pitts and Brother James Trammell officiating. Interment will follow the service at Red Doors Cemetery.
