Curtis Wayne Gabbard, 80, of Conway, passed away in his home on July 24, 2024. Curtis was born in Conway to Lester D Gabbard and Maudie ''Pauline'' Gabbard on May 13, 1944. Curtis was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, son, brother, uncle, cousin & friend. Curtis was a talented Master Electrician who was hardworking with a witty sense of humor. He was known for putting everyone else's needs above his own because of his great love and desire to help others. He possessed a gentle spirit and always had good things to say about everyone. Above all the numerous qualities Curtis possessed, he was a man who loved his wife and family.
Curtis is preceded in death by his parents, Lester D. Gabbard & Maudie ''Pauline'' Gabbard; grandchildren, Savannah Westover, Kaylee Gabbard and brother-in-law, Buck Freyaldenhoven.
Curtis is survived by his wife, Jody Lynn Gabbard; sons, Lawrence (Melissa) Gabbard and Micah Gabbard; daughters, Tracey (Jimmy) Cates, Jamie Holder and Shannon (Richard); sisters, Judy Freyaldenhoven and Pam (Charlie) Brenske and brother, Bobby Gabbard; grandchildren, Caleb Sartain, Levi Sartain, Jessica Ellis, MyKenzie (Jackson) Rayburn, Cidney Gabbard, Kylee Gabbard, Miah Gabbard, Youssouph ''Jay'' Badji (Maddie Leach), Saly ''Madison'' Badji-Barrientos (Marcos Barrientos), Christopher Holder, Brooklyn Holder, Austin Westover and great-grandchildren, Ruby Jo Gabbard, Jase Potts, Haley Simmons & Layla Simmons, Lily Sartain and Logan Sartain.
Pallbearers will be Youssouph ''Jay'' Badji, Christopher Holder, Caleb Sartain, Levi Sartain, Austin Westover and Ryan Fraser.
A celebration of Curtis' life will be held at New Life Church in Conway on Monday, July 29, 2024. A visitation will be at 12:00pm and services will be at 1:00pm. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery.

I surely hated to hear of Curtis’s passing! He was one of a kind! Speaking of that word I do believe Curtis was one of the kindest individuals I have ever been in Acquaintance with! His obituary was 100% true, he always was willing to help someone in need! He will be missed, our loss is the Lord's Gain!
