Gloria Ann (Fulmer) Dempsey, 83, of Batesville passed away July 22, 2024. She was born July 19, 1941 in Little Rock to Herman and Ida Mae (Pounder) Fulmer.

Gloria was of the Baptist faith. She had a good heart and would help anyone. Gloria enjoyed playing pool and shuffleboard and won trophies for both. She also enjoyed gardening, putting puzzles together, doing arts and crafts, hunting, fishing and watching crime shows.

Survivors include two sons, Ricky and Jason Pearl of Jacksonville; one daughter, Sharon Barnett of Batesville; one brother, Frankie Fulmer of Weiner; two sisters, Carolyn Zapata of Gravel Ridge and Linda Su Fulmer; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jimmy Dempsey; one son, Paul Pearl; five brothers and three sisters.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, July 25, 2024 at 2:00pm at Mayflower Cemetery in Mayflower, Arkansas with Bryant Allen officiating.

A visitation will be held at Roller-Owens Funeral Home in North Little Rock from 11:00am until 12:00pm, prior to the service.
